Yoga and Pilates

Interested in starting Pilates or yoga, but not sure where to start? We can help!

We run short, 6 class courses to help introduce you to the basics. The courses are perfect for beginners. Over six weeks you’ll be introduced to the principles of the practice and learn common exercises.

New courses start approximately bi-monthly, based on our timetable and requests. So contact us to book your spot! When you finish the short course, you might like to explore what other classes are on offer. Here’s what you can expect.

The courses are $99 for six consecutive classes. Calling us to book is your best option, but if that’s not convenient, shoot us an email info@physiyogastrath.com.au with your name, number, the class you’re interested in (details below) and a good time to call you back.

To borrow from an ancient Chinese proverb: the best time to start yoga or Pilates is twenty years ago and the second best time is now! We are looking forward to meeting you.

 

Special Winter Yoga Foundation Course

These Winter courses, run by one of our beautiful Yoga teachers Vidya, will focus on supporting the immune system, building internal heat and digestive fire and ensuring we care for our bodies, hands and feet. The practice is designed to help us keep a strong centre in these uncertain times. Poses will include sun salutes (surya namaskar) and some back bends. We hope you’ll find it strengthening and uplifting for your body, heart and mind.

To celebrate the International Day of Yoga, which aims to promote the many benefits of Yoga, we are starting a whole bunch of new courses. So take your pick and Pilates or yoga today.

Thursdays – Starting 22nd June

Morning

Beginner’s Mat Pilates: 10am

NEW circuit course: 11am

Evening

Foundation Yoga: 6.15pm

Beginner Pilates: 4.15pm

Fridays – Starting 23rd June

Mat Pilates – Beginner course: 8am

Saturdays – Starting 24th June

Circuit course – 8am

All courses are fantastic value of $99 for 6 classes (that’s a saving of over 20% from the regular class pass) to get you started.

What happens when I finish the beginners course?

On completion of your Pilates or yoga course, you can transition to one of our range of other classes, or try another class type. You can find a description of classes and our current timetable here. These classes run on our class pass system.
