Pre- and Post-natal Pilates Courses
A tailored approach to exercise therapy is important in this unique time of your life. You are invited to an initial consultation with our women’s health physiotherapist for an assessment which includes:
- Specific pregnancy and exercise screening
- Assessment of the abdominal wall and pelvic floor assessment
- Discussion of goals for the classes
- Education and advice for healthy movement
We may use our ultrasound machine to view your abdominal wall and/or a vaginal examination assess your pelvic floor contractions so you can know right from the start how to activate and relax your pelvic floor properly.
All Pilates based sessions take place in our welcoming Pilates studio, learning how to move well, stretch and strengthen in a safe and inclusive environment.
