PILATES Class Types

Group Physiotherapy

Your Physiotherapist will develop your own individual program in a 1:1 appointment, targeting your goals and needs; Maybe you want to improve your flexibility? Recover from injury? Support your body during pregnancy? Or simply get in shape. This class could be your answer. All Levels.


Mat Pilates

Feel the burn in this fun dynamic circuit class. Each week a different program to help you build strength, tone and get your heart rate up. A blend of mat exercises and Pilates equipment. This class is run by either a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist dependent on the time you choose. So you are in great hands. Levels 1 – 3.


Post-Natal Pilates (Bubs welcome)

Reconnect with your body and use this mindful movement practice to get yourself moving and feeling well in a safe environment. Whether you are trying to strengthen a certain area of soreness or support. Or just want to be feeling your best after bubs.

Your program will have a specific focus on safe and effective re-training of the lumbar spine and pelvis to get you feeling strong and moving well. A chance to support and care for the most important person in your bub’s life – you.



Yin Yoga

Yin is the practice of surrender, allowing us to let go of long held tension within the body and mind. Learning to be still and quite within yourself with no distractions is a rare treat. This practice will enhance self awareness on all levels physical, mental , emotional and spiritual. Level 1 & 2.


Vinyasa Flow

A Vinyasa is a style of yoga where the postures are linked in a flowing manner. Vinyasa flow is a class where you work your body mind and spirit into the deepest layers. With deeper sense of grounding into the poses. You will experience a strong workout in a gentle and caring way. Leaving you feeling relaxed, unfolded and a feeling of bliss. This class is for all experiences, but expect to be challenged. Level 2-3.


Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga describes the physical practice of asana (postures) and pranayama (breath control). We use it to describe a class taught were most postures are into one at a time, unlike the flowing vinyasa style. Variations are provided so each person can select the right level of challenge for them. Level 2 & 3. 


Yoga Pilates Blend

Our PhysiYoga Signature class. The general class structure includes the suryanamaskar (sun salutations) and a selection of postures from twelve mini ‘series’. Each class draws postures from each series, and these postures may differ week to week. Postures are held up to nine breaths. Progressions and modifications are applied throughout the class wherever necessary and blended with Pilates based exercises to fill in strength and control gaps where needed. Advanced class is Level 3. Other classes all levels.

We are always happy to add additional classes to our timetable. Sometimes we have new additions to our timetable that have not yet made it to our website. So if you would like to see something in particular please let us know.
