As a physiotherapist and yoga teacher, I spend my days helping people unlock the key to better movement so they can escape the cycle of pain and re-injury.

This inevitably involves discussions and exercises related to posture and ‘core strength’. With so much information out there (much of which can be contradictory), I’m often asked by my clients “What are core muscles exactly?” and “what does good posture actually look and feel like for me?”.

So many of the conditions we treat comes down to the issue of posture – how to get good posture and why it’s important for more easeful, efficient and effortless movement.

This presentation is intended to clarify some common misunderstandings that create a barrier to people getting the most from their exercise programs.
